Same book, new color! Top, green = first printing (1980s), and bottom, brown = second printing (2020s). Sometimes families will have a valuable book (just one copy—well-read and appreciated) about their ancestry. It may have been produced years back and more copies are desired. For this project, we scanned the pages from the decades-old original, Photoshopped the resulting images so the pages would print well, and had one of the printers we work with produce additional hardcover copies. With more copies to circulate, the history this book contains is now more secure and accessible for generations to come.
