Illustrator, compiler, and designer Eve Faulkes worked with a wide variety of organizations and individuals across the state to gather, assemble, and produce this important book. West Virginians’ Experiences in Civil Rights tells the stories of West Virginians who have been working for justice in numerous ways, and over many decades. The book received grants from the WV Humanities Council and others to cover printing and distribution costs. Its publisher, the Community Coalition for Social Justice, is busy getting the book (print and ebook available) in the hands of people of all ages around the state and beyond.
