We work with folks all over the state and country (and a few outside of the US now and then), but for the out-of-towners, oftentimes there is a local connection. Here, the author’s son Andrew—a local—picked up his mother’s book Grannie’s House. It’s a delightful story, and with lovely illustrations by a young woman whom the author has become close friends with. Grannie taught for thirty years, mostly as a reading specialist, so knows what children like. Rather than our shipping the books to her, her son will hand them off to her soon. Andrew was eager to see the book! Here, on Populore’s porch he’s taking a quick look on the way out to his truck.
